I have launched a new workshop series this year exploring landscape painting. The series starts with a 2-day Interpreting the Landscape workshop and the workshops become more advanced as the year progresses. You can pick and choose between the different workshops, or even book them all for the full experience:
Interpreting the Landscape: Friday 16th and Saturday 17th June 2023
Coastal Landscapes: Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th July 2023
Loosen up your Landscapes: Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th August 2023
The second Landscape workshop in the series will take place Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th July 2023. This is a 3 day workshop focusing on the different elements of painting the coastal landscape - Land, Sea and Sky.
About the workshop
Clear instruction with demos, along with practical exercises and learning through experimentation using acrylics. This is a fun 3 day workshop, during which we will work on multiple paintings. I'll help you free up your landscape / seascape paintings and enliven them with colour and movement. You will gain a range of painting skills and the confidence to use them fearlessly!
NB: Suitable for most abilities, although SOME PAINTING EXPERIENCE is required for this workshop. As a minimum you should have an understanding of basic colour mixing and paint application. If you are unsure about this please contact us for a chat.
