This was the third workshop in my Landscape series, and we had three full days of busy, happy, creative mayhem! Abstracting the landscape from outdoor sketches... using big brushes... fast timed studies... painting the landscape in only 10 brushstrokes (YES TEN!) and more.
This workshop focused on simplifying elements of the landscape to enable individual interpretation and self expression. In particular it was designed to help representational painters who wanted to loosen up their painting and venture towards more abstract work.
