Last year I produced a feature for Art & Framing Today magazine, which ended up being published in the October 2020 issue. It’s always so exciting to flip open a magazine, and find your work amongst the pages!
The feature shares my story of testing out a new easel that I had just received all the way from the US, and those first plein air studies that I took on a cold and stormy January afternoon. Together with photographs for each stage, this how-to feature reveals how I use plein air studies and location sketches to eventually produce a final piece of work back in the studio.
This year I am hoping to announce a schedule of workshops and courses, and I can’t wait to share tips and techniques with students in my new studio space.
