I am delighted to share that I will be exhibiting my paintings at the Exhibition of Contemporary Welsh Art in London this year - invited for the fifth time! The exhibition takes place over the first weekend in March, from Saturday 4th to Sunday 5th March, from 11 am to 5 pm.
This special celebration showcases the best of Welsh art during Wales Week in London at the London Welsh Centre. There's always such a buzz around this annual exhibition in the capital's Welsh cultural hub, which provides a welcoming space to experience Welsh art.
The Exhibition of Contemporary Welsh Art is part of an annual fortnight of cultural activities and events to celebrate everything great about Wales. Wales Week in London takes place from 19th February to 5th March and positively seeks to represent modern Wales in the capital.
I will be exhibiting a select number of my original oil paintings during the weekend. Inspired by the coastal landscapes of Pembrokeshire, my little corner of Wales, these paintings capture the emotions and experience of living in this beautiful part of the world. Here's a few that will be on display:
Fighting the urge, oil on canvas, 51 x 76 cmSmiling saints, oil on canvas board, 40 x 30 cm
Towards a crossroads, oil on canvas, 51 x 51 cm
There's a Private View and Drinks Reception on Friday, 3rd March, to celebrate the exhibition opening. Attendance is invite-only, so contact me if you would like an invitation.
If you are in or near London during this time, do pop by to have a look around the exhibition over the weekend. It will be lovely to see you!
