Cloud Creations | 1-day workshop | £125
The first 1-day Coastal Elements workshop Cloud Creations takes place on Friday 23rd June, and focuses on painting different types of clouds. I teach techniques and principles to help you understand clouds and discover ways to paint them imaginatively, injecting energy and atmosphere into your work. This workshop will also equip you to use clouds as a powerful compositional tool for enhancing all your landscape paintings.
Beach Reflections | 1-day workshop | £125
The second 1-day Coastal Elements workshop Beach Reflections takes place on Friday 30th June, and focuses on painting the beach and the magic of reflections in wet sand.

Wonderful Waves | 1-day workshop | £125
The third 1-day Coastal Elements workshop Wonderful Waves takes place on Friday 7th July, and will focus specifically on painting waves. Learn about the anatomy and movement of waves in different conditions and ways to describe them in paint. I teach a range of techniques for painting the different parts of waves, how to make them appear tranluscent, and how to capture their energy and movement.

Sensational Sunsets | 1-day workshop | £125
The fouth 1-day Coastal Elements workshop Sensational Sunsets takes place on Friday 14th July, and will focus on painting sunsets. We will look at the light effects and colour relationships that occur at this time of day and you will learn how to balance and control them.

Workshop details
Suitable for most abilities, although some painting experience is required for these workshops. As a minimum you should have an understanding of basic colour mixing and paint application. If you are unsure about this please contact us for a chat.
Painting workshops take place with me in my spacious and well equipped studio on the Pembrokeshire coast. SJB Fine Art Studio is located just off the main road between Newgale Beach, and the village of Solva.
All materials and equipment are provided, so all you need to do is turn up with a willingness to learn and have fun!
Complimentary refreshments are available throughout each session.
