Had a fabulous workshop today with this lovely lot!
These photos were taken at the ‘Wonderful Waves’ workshop, from my new series of coastal elements 1-day workshops. Students learnt different techniques to create a beautiful seascape painting, with a focus specifically on painting waves. They learnt about the anatomy and movement of waves in different conditions and ways to describe them in paint. I shared a range of techniques for painting the different parts of waves, how to make them appear translucent, and how to capture their energy and movement. Thank you to everyone for coming along!
