Very exciting to see some unique styles emerging from the students on my 2-day workshop Interpreting the Landscape!

The second in my new series of landscape painting workshops, this course was designed to help students interpret the landscape without getting bogged down in detail. We combined some work outdoors with work in the studio, and I guided students with techniques to simplify what they see and to create strong paintings that were uniquely theirs. Well done everyone!

I've received some lovely feedback from students who attended this workshop:

"Dear Sarah, Thank you, thank you, thank you, for a very interesting and informative two days. You are such an inspiring teacher, and you show such passion for your art. I have learnt so much on interpreting the landscape, colours and the various processes involved. I now need to practice, practice and practice!" Shirley - June 2023

"Really enjoyed my session with Sarah. I improved my practise, learnt a lot and it was lovely meeting her. A highlight was going out with her to sketch in Solva. Magical." W. T - June 2023
