Benefits of painting: using your creative power

Benefits of painting: using your creative power

Since we can now get almost everything we need at the click of a mouse, we no longer make things by hand or move our bodies for everyday tasks.

We've lost the therapeutic tactile pleasure of those kinetic activities, and science has linked this to depression. Humans have evolved to use their bodies!

Hands especially are meant to be used to construct, repair, and create - and using them in this way boosts our mood.

When you paint, it demonstrates to you that you have your own creative power - a practical reminder that you can, with your own physical resources, create something totally unique!

If you would like to start your creative journey, then take a look at some of my workshops and classes. There's something for everyone!
