Commissioning an artist to create an original piece of work is a thrilling and special experience, and with my professional approach you can look forward to enjoying an exciting journey towards a beautiful and bespoke painting.
I have undertaken numerous commissions, where I have worked closely with clients to create something really special and specific to their requirements. If you are interested in a commission, please contact me with your ideas.

“Sarah was a joy to deal with… The results are superb and my family and I couldn’t be happier with the painting”
A recent commission installed in its new home: A sunny disposition, oil on canvas, 61 x 91cm
“I contacted Sarah to commission a painting following my Mum’s passing earlier this year, looking for something that would capture both her sunny personality and evoke memories of Pembrokeshire where we spent a lot of time as a family.
Sarah was a joy to deal with, dealing sensitively with what must have been a difficult ask and seeking to get a good understanding of my Mum as a person so she could translate some of her characteristics into a landscape painting.
The results are superb and my family and I couldn’t be happier with the painting; it is a perfect memorial to my brilliant Mum and a fantastic part of the world.
I would also add that Sarah’s service in terms of getting the painting to us and her after sales care couldn’t have been better.”

“Sarah was lovely to deal with, being both professional and sensitive to our thoughts.”
Fresh memories, oil on canvas, 40 x 50cm
“Having previously admired and bought one of Sarah’s paintings on a visit to Wales, she was an obvious choice for us to contact to commission a painting that would help us remember a very dear friend who passed away recently.
Sarah was lovely to deal with, being both professional and sensitive to our thoughts. She was keen to understand the background for commissioning the painting, and the types of emotion and mood that we wanted it to evoke.
The result is a wonderful expression of joy in nature, as depicted by a beautiful seascape where you can almost taste the spray from the waves and hear them crashing onto the shore.
We are absolutely thrilled with our new picture and look forward to reflecting on the many memories of our friend that it will inspire over time.”
N. Glendinning, West Sussex
The commission process
The commission process starts with a simple no obligation phone call to discuss the basic details, followed by a home visit or Skype meeting so that I can get to know you and the space in which the painting will sit.
To understand what is involved in producing a painting, please take a look at the short films below of the journey of a large commission called ‘Another Chapter’. Creating a painting can sometimes take months, but the beauty of time-lapse means that you can enjoy watching the whole process in minutes.
