New workshops planned
Recently I hosted my first workshop of 2021 with a relaxed group of students all keen to get to grips with the basics of learning to paint. It was great fun! Students enthusiastically got stuck into mark making and colour mixing, learning valuable lessons through uninhibited playful exercises and went on to more advanced principles after lunch.
My ‘Painting Essentials’ workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn to paint but doesn’t know where to start, and covers a range of basics to help students gain the confidence to begin painting. I will be running this ‘Painting Essentials’ workshop again later in the year, so if you missed it this time, there will be another opportunity.
I’m also planning a whole series of workshops for those who already have some experience (or at least basic skills) and want to improve or try something different. These will take place over the summer months and you will be able to book places on my website very soon!
These will include:
Themed workshops (1 day)
These will run on consecutive days so you can come for 1 day or all 3!
- Liberated Landscapes
- Spectacular Skies
- Sensational Seas
Colour confidence (2 day)
Get to grips with oils (4 day)
Advance your painting (4 day masterclass for improvers)
Evening sessions (a 6 week course of 2 hour evening classes for locals, starting in September)
Comprehensive tuition with yours truly! Refreshments and all materials and equipment included.
More details to follow soon, so do keep an eye on my social media and website for updates.
