It is really nice to occasionally put on some clothes that aren’t spattered with paint and go somewhere different! Earlier in April I went to London for a black tie event held in Mayfair by The Discerner Magazine. My painting ‘Out on a limb’ was displayed alongside other featured artists, whilst a plethora of invited VIP guests sipped champagne and listened to a piano recital…. all very grown up!
The following day I went to Tate Britain and then squeezed in a few other galleries before getting the train home. I always feel enthused when I get back to the studio, sometimes it’s good to have a change of scenery.
