Out and about…
August is tourist season here in Pembrokeshire and it gets very busy. It is also the start of the breeding season for Atlantic Grey Seals and I’m lucky enough to work occasionally on wildlife boat trips around our local island reserves, which means I get a ringside seat to the wildlife, amazing coastal scenery and the awe inspiring skies and effects of light out at sea.

I also became a tourist one day and went (with an artist friend) out on to Ramsey Island, a nature reserve owned and managed by the RSPB . We spent a wonderful day sitting on a cliff top sketching and observing the seals feeding their pups on the beach below.
